She admitted that she had only recently been released from jail. She gladly accepted the gospel and prayed for Jesus to be the Lord of her life. Now she has hope. TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT(S) NEEDED IN JAPAN — Steve & Karen, who work with another couple in an English-teaching evangelistic mission in Japan, are planning to go to America for three to six months starting in September, and are looking for replacements to handle their English teaching responsibilities during that time. They would like a married couple, or one or two single women, to fill this position.   12. RESOURCES TO ENCOURAGE MISSIONARIES — A Bible study guide called, “Finding Strength for the Journey,” provides a tool for member care or personal encouragement. Author Janice Lemke drew from experiences as a missionary when writing this series of thirty studies that explores topics such as perseverance in hardship, dealing with depression, handling conflict, and benefit from trials.   13. MEDICAL MISSIONS CONFERENCE — Southeast Christian Church is hosting The Global Missions Health Conference on Nov. 11 (HIV/AIDS preconference) and November 12, 13 (main sessions). The conference is dedicated to motivating, training and equipping all health care servants in America and internationally. Although it is geared for healthcare professionals, everyone is welcome.   16. SOUTH ASIAN GLOBAL CONVENTION (SAGC 2004) — SAGC 2004 is a historic event. Catch this first International gathering of South Asian Youth and Young Adult believers and Ministry Leaders from all over the world.
