We’re so grateful that already during 2009, our friends and partners have given $4,537.19 to fuel the Brigada fire. These funds go directly toward the cause of helping us get the word out about unreached people. They propel Brigada out the door and onto your screen. And in addition, this year, they enable us to help establish a missions nerve center at Emerald Hills in Louisville, Kentucky. It is on that missions nerve center, much like the one Ralph Winter established in Pasadena in the late 1970s, that Brigada is based.
Our budget for 2009 is exactly the same as 2008, 2007, and 2006. For each of the past years, without asking for any ‘raise’, we have sought $17,200. Last year, thanks to many great partners, we made that budget. Would you help us reach that goal again in 2009? To make that happen, 126 “True Friends” of Brigada could step up to the plate and pitch in $100 each. If you’re unable to pitch in $100, obviously, any size gift would be greatly appreciated. Neither requires you to open an account with anyone … and neither ever spams you. We can even set up a regular once-a-month automatic withdraw from your checking account or major credit card. Set it up once and rest easily, knowing that you’re regularly helping get Brigada on the way to the nations.
