Why? Because it gives you absolute power to choose the region, the country, whether or not you just want 10/40 Window people groups, a population filter (e.g., greater than 10,000 people), the primary religion, % of Christian adherents, or % of evangelical, unreached status, unengaged status, progress, whether or not there’s a Bible Translation and/or a Jesus film, etc., etc. Using this filter, you can pretty much choose the criteria, the groups, the ‘unreachedness’, and more. I recently sent a note to JoshuaProject’s founder, Dan Scribner, thanking him for his work on this. In his reply, he confessed that he get the idea from the “Dell Refurbished Outlet” system. :-) If they only knew what their used computers had inspired. :-) (Besides the unreached people that were reached, of course, is this not the best thing that ever came out of the AD2000 & Beyond Movement? Hats off to you Dan Scribner and any & all who are helping you!)
