1) Missionary Conference —

Save money by registering now for Caring for Others annual Personal Growth Conference for Missionaries. Held this year from Oct. 31-Nov. 5th, this is not your typical missionary conference. No big name speakers, just skilled facilitators helping missionaries reflect upon where God has taken us and where he wants us to go. All for the purpose of encouragement through spiritual, emotional, and relational growth. For complete details please visit

2) Learning to Lead Prayer Days and Retreats —

Team Expansion’s Prayer Coordinator learned more about leading prayer days and retreats when she attended a recent conference led by Dr. Evelyn Davis, Training Consultant for SIL International (partner with Wycliffe Bible Translators). Betty came home with the confidence and material to lead prayers days and retreats on numerous prayer and reflection topics. She experienced the leading of such events as she worked with other attendees in small groups to practice what they experienced under the facilitation of Dr. Davis and others who assisted in the training. 8) Special Close-up on Soccer-related Ministries –

What’s better than the beautiful game? It is beautiful message of salvation in Jesus Christ. Here is a list of places to help you share the gospel using a soccer ball or international football. Some ministries and organizations have developed a multi colored soccer ball to share the gospel. An evangelistic message is usually given using the five colors of the soccer ball. For example, the black on the soccer ball represents sin, and white after our sins have been forgiven. There is also information on a dvd called “The Prize” which shares the gospel using Christian testimonies of famous soccer players. Find all this at…

10) Empower Brigada for another Week –

Want to undergird Brigada for just one more week to provide mission resources and options for concerned Christians all over the globe? Just click on one of the “Donor” links at the top of this page. Both are safe, the one with PayPal and the other with Authorize.net. Neither requires you to open an account with anyone … and neither ever spams you. We can even set up a regular once-a-month automatic withdraw from your checking account or major credit card. Set it up once and rest easily, knowing that you’re regularly helping get Brigada on the way to the nations. Or, if you prefer, just send an old-fashioned check payable to Team Expansion to: Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Dr., Louisville, KY 40299. (Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so for USA citizens, your checks made out to Team Expansion are tax-deductible.) A gift of any size would help, whether monthly or one-time. If you know someone else who might like to help, just hit reply and tell us about him/her/them. Thank you for your help in fueling the fire of Brigada!
