I’m not kidding. I was floored. For the third year in a row, an international church in the Middle East has stepped up to the plate and hit, not just a home run, but a grand slam!!! This past week, we received a very special gift of $2,170. Because of the fact that we counted a very similar gift in both 2008 and 2009, we’re going to go soft just a *tad* on our deadline and count all gifts through *today* toward 2010 donations. We also received a $50 gift in the name of the devotional book “Before You Go” by Jack Hempfling, and another gift of $50 from Caring for Others,

“for continuing operation of your valuable ministry.” (Thanks for the encouragement!)

Taken together, these $2270 new dollars added to our previous total for 2010 result in a grand total of $11,152.90. Whoooo-hooo! Getting to 5 digits makes it look *sooooooo* much closer to what was our goal and true budget needs ($17,120). Once again, because of our new posture,  we won’t make any requests for funds in 2011 until the end of the year (November). We *will* continue to thank donors who give. And once again, hats off to the international church who made a *grand* difference. Shew. Inspiring. God be praised! II Corinthians 9 stuff.
