In his typical excellent way, that only Patrick can write, he deals with 20 centuries of church history in one chapter (worth the price of the book by itself). And the chapter on “Nine Global Challenges” could develop into an entire semester-long course, by the same title. But then, so could the chapter on major world religions, “The Unevangelized,” and “Church Missions and the Future.” You can get the book as a PDF, so it won’t take up any space on your shelves!
