Sorry, nothing personal, but we’re already deluged. We’ll eventually teach our spam filter to just delete it anyway, but in the meantime, we’ll have a sad face because of the volume of mass mailings we receive. :-( The really sad part is that your emails will then be marked to go to our spam filters. :-(

Donate to Brigada —
To give online, just navigate to
then click “Donate” in the upper right and follow the instructions. By the way, you don’t need a PayPal account to give. If you reach a screen asking for your PayPal I.D., look on the left side of the screen, about halfway down, and find the prompt which says, “Continue without a PayPal Account.” If you’d rather send an old-fashioned check, just make it payable to Team Expansion and send it to:
Team Expansion (Brigada),
13711 Willow Reed Dr.,
Louisville, KY 40299
(And by the way, Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so for USA citizens, your checks made out to Team Expansion are tax-deductible.) Thanks to those who have suggested this cause to their local church missions committees, mission teams, and/or missions ministers/pastors. We appreciate you!

I also did not receive the invitation from iContact (not even in my spam folder). But it does look good as I see it on my iPad, as long as I enlarge it. It shows up as a narrow column, not really suited to the iPad.

But it will be easier to read. I’d love to have you return to the early days when Brigada was more than reprinted press releases.

Hi David. We’re using brand new web technology called “responsive” text. The Brigada online version (not the email) should work GREAT in your iPad, I hope.

As for the content, all I can say brother, is that we do the best we can. In between leading this missions agency, being a husband and a dad, soccer coaching, and more, somewhere over the past 17 years, we’ve tried to find time to edit these news items. Some are completely rewritten from the ground up. Some are presented, as you’ve indicated, all or in part the way they were contributed. But we read ALL of them and try to make sure the content is exactly what our Brigada readers want to hear. If we ever let you down, maybe it’s a case of “you get what you pay for.” :-) (And most Brigada readers are paying zero. [I’m grinning as I write this, tongue-in-cheek.]
