While $2.99 is a great price, this is for the PDF version of the book. For only $1.00 more, one can get a version formatted for the Kindle — much more readable on an eReader than a PDF. http://www.amazon.com/3D-Gospel-Ministry-Guilt-Cultures-ebook/dp/B00OV4FVMS/
This is an excellent book. And, it doesn’t present only the “Honour and Shame” worldview. This is one of the few books I’ve read that give an equal emphasis to all three primary worldviews — honour and shame, fear and power, and guilt and innocence. Georges also talks about how all cultures have elements of all three primary worldviews, even though each culture will put a primary emphasis on one or another. One of the strengths of the book is that it looks at how the Bible speaks to all three and gives examples. The one thing that I was left wanting was an oral Creation to Christ story that incorporated all three worldviews.
