In this article by Nathan Shank, you’ll get a concise presentation of five levels of movement leadership. If we could just understand these five levels, we’re convinced that there truly would be no place left where the Good News about Jesus had not yet traveled.

5) Last Chance To Get Safety/Security Training Before Travel Season

morton secureMorton Security is offering their 3 day Target Hardening and Resiliency Seminar on May 19-21 in Tucson Arizona. This training has been critical in keeping international travelers out of crisis situations while traveling abroad. The last class graduated about 30 students, one of whom was detained in Russia by FSB and promptly released, perhaps, in part, because of his new training. Sign up at:

9) Locate a hard-to-find book at BookFinder

Thanks to Jim for sending us to Bookfinder…

Jim wrote, “One of the major advantages of BookFinder.com over the others (and there are several) is the search design which we have found to be more robust allowing for conducting simultaneous searches based on author, title, language, ISBN, binding, publication year, price in different currencies and shipping destination. The result is a more comprehensive list of books including various editions as well as books with the same title but by different authors — something that doesn’t always seem to be the case with AllBookstores.com which search mainly for the most popular title. We also like the split screen for used versus new and the fact that the price includes shipping but you can scroll over to see the breakdown.” Thanks Jim!

10) TESOL Training in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Get TESOL training at Asia’s Center for TESOL from May 23 through June 24 in India or September 5-October 7 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. For the first three weeks the classes are Monday-Friday, 8-4. For the last two weeks, the classes are 8-12, followed by a two-hour practicum in the afternoon or evening. This totals 120 hours in class and 20 hours of practicum (10 hours observing and 10 hours teaching). Contact Melody for application forms or more information:

13) We’re Grateful …

thank you on paperThanks to the Mission Network, who sent $100 this past week because they believe in Brigada enough to make a monthly pledge of $100, partly because they want to dare other agencies, churches, and individuals to do the same. God bless you!!! Learn more about Mission Network at…

Thanks, too, for the anonymous donor who sent $2. He’s giving a portion of every book sold via his private book publishing site.

14) The BackPage: The More we read the Last Mission Frontiers Issue…

The more we like it. The editors have done a fantastic job of culling some of the most mission-critical thinking (on sending-base movements) with topics that MATTER. In this day and age when printed magazines are having to re-think their reasons to exist, it seems like the one thing that will make the most difference is to address topics that MATTER. And we’re convinced that these topics DO. So hats off, Mission Frontiers.

We understand their next edition will also deal with multiplying disciples too. Keep up the good work, Mission Frontiers!
