1) Embrace the Azerbaijani

The North American Azerbaijani Network will be hosting its Partnership Forum at The Hope Center Plano TX, October 20-22. If you want to learn about what is going on amongst the 40 million unreached Azerbaijanis around the world, register and find out what you can do to get involved. For registration and details go to

or contact the facilitator Chris at

2) Research on the World’s Missionaries and Mission organizations

The North American Mission Handbook is a directory of mission organizations, with information on the number of missionaries sent, where they serve, what they do, and more. How about an Africa Mission Handbook, an Asia Mission Handbook, and so on, to serve the entire global mission movement? Experienced mission researcher Michael Jaffarian is working on this possibility, together with the WEA Mission Commission. If you would like to know more, contact Michael at
emichaeljaffarianatgmaildotcom .

3) Antioch Journey Website/Challenge Preps for Marketplace Ministry

Just released last week, the Antioch Journey website centers around a simple 31-day series of emails (the “31 Day Challenge”), as well as blog entries and access to a full assessment tool that helps you understand your readiness for ministry in the marketplace. Organizers are praying it will help you connect your faith and vocation in a way that intentionally fulfills the Great Commission. What’s more, if you have ideas for blogging there, they’d love to affiliate and engage you as a fellow worker in the journey. Learn more and sign up for the 31 Day Challenge (free of charge) at…

9) Frontier Works Seminar on DMM in Bali

10) Private School in Kosova is Seeking Like-minded Teachers

This private school in Kosova features classes taught in English with an American curriculum. They provide one round-trip economy ticket and 1000E ($1200) per month. (This is adequate to cover all expenses for a single person to live in Kosova.) The specific teachers needed include a middle school English teacher, a middle School/High School Science/Biology teacher, a middle School/ High School Social Science/History Teacher, a sub science teacher (fall semester 2016 only), and an elementary school teacher. If you’re interested, contact John at
(Please be sure to tell him you heard about it in Brigada.)

We’re also grateful for $30 from an anonymous booster of the concept of a new Africa Mission Handbook, an Asia Mission Handbook, and so on. Thank you!

14) The BackPage: Mandarin Chinese Resources Available

We’re encouraged by the number of resources coming out for those wanting to reach out to Chinese Muslim neighbors. For example…

(printed) Muslims, Christians, and Jesus. Carl Medearis. – Includes Videos, Information, and Free Digital Versions of books, including Encountering the World of Islam – About caring for those who share with distant neighbors – Mega-site with hundreds of articles

Thanks John. And — please add other resources by using the “Comments” section following the web version of this item. Let’s keep creating and sharing resources for those reaching out to some of the largest remaining blocks of unreached peoples.
