The international arbitration panel’s ruling was supposed to bring resolution to a conflict. But, the more the panel seemed to side against China, the more China became angry with their result! We’re not saying we have answers in this conflict. We’re only observing that it has the capacity to further alienate China from the West — and vice versa.
