Our good friend, Betty Byrd, is Vice President of Prayer at Team Expansion. She wrote us last week to say, “Journals help keep me on track in prayer! I haven’t always used journals, but the longer my list grew, the more I have needed ways to keep me organized and praying for what I had promised and needed to pray. Here are some of my favorites along the way (listed in the order in which I used them beginning about 12 years ago):

Includes calendars for prayer requests for a month at a glance and calendars for prayer requests for a week at a glance with twelve columns across and seven rows down….six columns for family and six columns for others. The final section of the book includes lined pages for meditations, notes, and prayers.

The Lord Bless You and Keep You Journal by Ellie Claire
Published in 2014 by Ellie Claire
This is simple Journal with a verse of Scripture or a quotation on every page. A friend gave me this journal as a gift at Christmas and I decided to dedicate it to six months of prayer for an unreached people group, the Sylheti people of Bangladesh. The verses and quotations helped to guide my prayers for the Sylheti during those months.

This was journal was a gift from another friend. It also has a Scripture verse on every page as well as pages of verses to color. If you love praying Scripture and meditating on Scripture, you will enjoy using this publication as a prayer and meditation journal.

the Pray! Prayer Journal by Dean Ridings
A NavPress resource published in alliance with Tyndale House Publishers
This is my current all-time favorite prayer journal. I have ordered a new one for several years now. It contains a section for weekly requests and sections for daily requests for each month of the year. Each month has a different prayer focus. Following the built-in Bible reading plan of about five chapters a day allows you to read through the Bible in a year.
