1) School in Pristina, Kosova, Needs a Science Teaching Sub

Want to sub teach in Kosova for a couple of months? They’ll pay for your airfare and even give you a stipend for housing and living expenses. Their science teacher had to go back to his homeland due to medical situation. Now they’re in the lurch without a teacher for HS Chemistry, HS Biology and Anatomy and Physiology from October 22 through December 21, the end of the semester. The great thing is full course materials and even tests are already prepared. This would be a great way to get to Kosova to share your heart for Jesus. (This is a high school in which you could do that.) If we recall correctly, all classes are taught in English. To ask for more information (and see if the spot has been filled), contact John or Ruth at

2) Education as a platform

Chiang Rai International Christian School is looking for teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. CRICS is a strategic school located in northern Thailand with close access to neighboring countries. It supports missionaries reaching locals and those nearby. The mission is to share Jesus with the local students and the MK students attending CRICS.

4) English Kids Sunday School curriculum for non-native speakers

A ministry is looking for an English Sunday School curriculum to teach Sunday School lessons to kids who speak hardly any English (from 5-12yo). The aim of the curriculum or textbook is NOT to teach English (many of these ESL using the Bible textbooks already exist) but to teach about the Bible and Christian truths to non-native English speaking kids. Got any good recommendations? If so, just click “Comment” following the app or web version of this item. Thanks in advance for your help!

6) Hindu World Prayer Focus

The second annual Hindu World Prayer Focus, coinciding with the Hindu Festival of Lights (Diwali), is scheduled to take place October 28 to November 11. Copies of a 32-page booklet are being distributed globally and available in the US from

for US$3 (with discounts for multiple copies). This is a great chance to help your church or group learn about and pray for the world’s more than one billion Hindus. To learn more, visit the international website.

(Thanks for pointing us to this from our friends at Missions Catalyst, Betty.)

7) Need a Graphic Design Application?

A friend told us this past week that he loves

We visited the site and, to be honest, we weren’t overly impressed. Do you like Canva, or do you have another such site that is even more effective and, if so, would you mind sharing it? Just click “Comment” following this item on the web or in the Brigada app.

8) Guidebook for Those Who Coach Support Raisers

Coaching financial support raisers who are preparing for ministry is crucial for the global mission movement. This guidebook is a much needed resource that helps anyone learn how to coach, walk alongside, and provide consistent accountability to support raisers as they raise financial funds. It’s designed to help organizations, churches, and individuals. Anyone can impact the nations by being a coach, and now you have the guidebook for it! It’s available now on Amazon as an eBook. A print version is coming soon.

13) We’re Grateful for…

All those who have spread the word about Brigada. If you have a network, a newsletter, a team, or an org, would you consider inviting them to go to…

and take the 15 seconds to plug in their email, upper right, then hit submit?

Also, thanks to those who empower each edition to be sent worldwide. We’re extremely grateful. Want to join them by partnering with Brigada to ratchet up the mobilization and resourcing for global missions? Just click “Donate” at www.brigada.org, or mail a check payable to Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Drive, Louisville, KY 40299. Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so, for USA citizens, your gift to Christ by writing a check to Team Expansion is tax-deductible. Thank you, in advance, for your partnership!

14) Do You Need a Digital Hero? (If You Live in a Sensitive Land, Yes?)

If you live and work in a sensitive land (a security-conscious environment), then you probably do. The Digital Hero role is a crucial partner to your Media-to-Disciple-Making-Movement (M2DMM) work. Opening digital accounts, such as Google Adwords or Facebook, require a real person’s information such as their name, their identity card, payment details and often even an address. In a secure context, you DO NOT want to use your personal identity nor anyone else’s who is living in-country. If you’re considering using M2DMM, you’ll want to browse this link:

M2DMM is a viable strategy useful to anyone who wants to give neighbors a fair chance to hear the Good News. Using M2DMM strategies will enlarge and expand the breadth of the net you can cast. It will help you find people who otherwise might never have considered the message of Jesus’ gift of grace. We encourage you to give it a chance today.

Are you using M2DMM in your field? If so, please safely comment or share a safe testimony (please change names and use only general circumstances) about the efficacy of M2DMM in your field by clicking comment following the app or web version of this item. Thanks in advance for commenting!
