GMAIL is great. It has become the email standard for our generation. It’s also super at handling spam. Sometimes *too* super. : ) It pats you on the head and makes decisions for you about emails that it deems “promotional” in nature — or maybe even just “social.” Unfortunately, it seems that GMAIL users have been slow to catch on, in spite of the fact that users WANT to see some of those emails as “primary” instead of “promotional.” Brigada editions often land in the “Promotional” folder because GMAIL sees Brigada’s language as promotional in nature. (Gasp!) Maybe it’s because we’re promoting a new missions video or promoting a particular website or approach. Rats. Unfortunately, it’s a bit like talking to the “Hal” computer in the old space movie. “Hal, open the pod-bay door!” “I’m sorry Dave. I just can’t do that.” Well fortunately, it’s a *tad* easier with GMAIL. Just click into your “Promotional” and/or “Social” tab, find a Brigada, then right-click it (or do whatever GMAIL users do) to instruct your “Hal” email service to send Brigada into your *Primary* inbox. Please. Our emails don’t enjoy being thrown into a side folder with a bunch of spam. : ) Save the whales… and all the Brigadas!
