If you reach a screen asking for your PayPal I.D., look on the left side of the screen, about halfway down, and find the prompt which says, “Continue without a PayPal Account.” If you’d rather send an old-fashioned check, just make it payable to Team Expansion and send it to: Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Drive, Louisville, KY 40299, USA. (And by the way, Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so for USA citizens, your checks made out to Team Expansion are tax-deductible.) Thanks to those who have suggested this cause to their local church missions committees, mission teams, and/or missions ministers/pastors. We appreciate you!

1) Your Chance To Unleash Brigada for 2019 and Beyond

Each year, we ask God for $17,120 for Brigada’s annual budget. Thankfully, you and others like you have already given $5,673.52 (including new gifts that arrived last week). This helps cover the costs for search engines, the websites and servers, the email-sending service (this is $150/month in and of itself), the part-time assistant who publishes the content we write, a few lightweight marketing costs, the anti-spam engine, the ongoing costs to stage the apps (both Android and iOS) and serve up a future for participants like you. One friend wrote a note this past week (completely unsolicited), saying, “Brigada is a great help in my international ministry, providing resources in different languages that help build unity and spiritual maturity through worship. Brigada connects and uncovers so many aspects of missions in unique ways – nothing comes close to replicating it. Thank you for faithfulness.” If you’ve ever used an item in Brigada or if you’d like to give on behalf of someone who can’t give personally, just click “Donate” at www.brigada.org, or mail a check payable to Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Drive, Louisville, KY 40299. Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so, for USA citizens, your gift to Christ by writing a check to Team Expansion is tax-deductible. Thank you, in advance, for your partnership!

4) The Kilogram is Dead (There’s a sermon illustration here somewhere)

Thanks to Caleb for connecting us to this very-sad article…

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/16/science/kilogram-physics-measurement.html

So what kind of illustration can we draw from this? Leading countries like France used to treasure the standard. But now the standard will be in the hands of the masses. Help us come up with a sermon illustration here please. Just click “Comment” following the web or app version of this item. Thanks in advance for your help!
