4) Missio Nexus Mission Leaders Conference to Offer Nine Tracks

Mission Nexus’ “Mission Leaders Conference 2018” is offering nine strategic workshop tracks. Though your role, position, or interest may fit a particular track you are not locked into attending only that one. (We love it when people are flexible. : ) ) You can focus on Executive Leadership, Human Resources, Mobilization, Global Strategies, Member Health, Short-Term Missions, Globally Engaged Churches, Mission Finance and Administration, and, appropriately enough, Training. There are descriptions of these and other offerings at…

6) Want to Teach School in Kosova This Fall and Be Paid For It?

Now you can. Classes are in English. And it’s a paid gig. They need teachers for 4th grade, 5th grade, middle school social studies, high school English, and HS Science. They have the curriculum and textbooks available for each subject. You need a bachelor degree in the subject you would be teaching, but not necessarily a teaching certificate (though it is welcome). They provide one round-trip airfare to Kosova and a stipend of 1000E per month (roughly $1200 per month). School beings on September 3, 2018 and ends the end of June, 2019. Questions? Email John

You could start with the $35 course. It’s ideal for those participating in church and short-term mission trips, less experienced cross-cultural workers, and for those working long-term in areas of moderate risk. (Thanks to John, the Training Manager, for all the great work on these!)
