Are The Qur’an & Bible Really So Different?

Mark Anderson tries to address this question in a very recent Zwemer Center article. In it, he examines the often-held belief that the Qur’an states that the Bible has been falsified. It might surprise you to read his conclusions.

After reading the article, would you mind sharing your take on his writing? We’re sure some people will find the article radical, while others will find it illuminating. Which are you? Click Comment following the web version of this item please.

Managing Stress in Humanitarian Workers (and others)

The Antares guidelines for managing stress appear to be foundational. (They might help many of our missionary workers too.) Take a look (in several major languages):

https://www.antaresfoundation.org/guidelines#.WhUdVUqnGUl

When you click on the guidelines (in your choice of language), you’ll see 20+ pages on how to help your agency’s or church’s representatives reduce stress in cross-cultural work. Thanks Antares, for the free booklet, and thanks to Kelly O’Donnell for sharing them with us here at Brigada.

We’re Grateful for…

…the $25 gift to Jesus through Brigada by a long-time friend of our work. Thank you!
…a $75 gift from the folks at…

as a way of encouraging storytellers for Jesus the world over. God bless you!

The Last Bit: What are You Thankful For?

When families in the USA gather around the fireplace this week and celebrate one of the few holidays that hasn’t been kidnapped or commercialized, they’ll likely be thankful for important things like health, other family members, and life itself. Of course, we hope the whole world will soon be thankful for the most important person of all — the person of Jesus Christ. Whether you live in the USA or not this week, would you join us in asking God to bring about a new wave of world-changers that will bring Jesus’ message to the masses across the planet? Pray for peace and celebrate the season.

Of course, if you’re in the mood, please drop a gift to Jesus by giving it to Brigada. We only ask one season a year — and then only until we meet our goal of $17,000. We’re halfway there. Your gift of $100 (or any amount really) could make a huge difference, if everyone reading this Brigada would take action. Just click “Donate” at www.brigada.org, or mail a check payable to Team Expansion (Brigada), 13711 Willow Reed Drive, Louisville, KY 40299. Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so, for USA citizens, your gift to Christ by writing a check to Team Expansion is tax-deductible. Thank you, in advance, for your partnership!
