14) The Last Bit: Please Help us Design a New “Wall of the Unreached”

We have to make this decision by June 16th. Time’s a wasting. We began the quest with the item…

https://brigada.org/2017/05/21_20397

asking — should we prep a new Wall of Unreached Peoples by geography, then ask people to try to sleuth out the unreached within that zone? … or should we follow the more conventional (of late) unreached people group approach, scouting out the geography of the groups based on ethnolinguistic lines first, letting the ethnography speak to geography?

Put a different way: For prayer, mobilization, and strategy planning purposes in 2017, would you rather see UPG’s or map zones? We thought the answer would be simple but… wow… some really great minds have jumped in and, now, we don’t know *what* to do. But this decision (which we’ve been putting off for long enough) has to be made by end of day June 16th, 2017. Would you please visit the link above, read through (or at least scan through) the comments, then give your opinion? We’ll try to begin tangible layout work and order parts (thousands of dollars of parts; so we want to get this right) by the end of the week. Please help us make a good decision. Thanks in advance. To participate, just click “Comment” following the web version of this item. To see a picture of past Wall of Unreached Peoples in use, visit, for example,

You’ll more books, media, conferences, and websites than you could ever imagine! Pero como es posible!?

2) First Peter: An Honor-Shame Paraphrase

Readers easily misinterpret Scripture for a simple reason: our modern culture is different than the Bible’s cultures. The new “honor-shame paraphrase” explains the cultural nuances of the Bible in insightful and accessible ways. This short book, “1 Peter: An Honor-Shame Paraphrase” (just $2.99), is ideal for personal devotions, teaching prep, and discipleship lessons, especially for people working cross-culturally. 3) Our Friend, Curtis, Helped us “Get” the 4KMapping Project

This past week, conversation continued on our post about 4K Mapping. Of particular interest was Curtis’ post, which read, “I think the big idea is that we are aiming not just to get work started among every group somewhere in each country, but rather to reach all people groups everywhere. The missions community has reasonably good information now about where the various people groups are located but we don’t have practical plans in place to address them everywhere. If we network Kingdom laborers in every place, it will be far easier to share resources, insights, trainers, etc. across the world for any given UPG. Rather than just make sure a UPG is addressed somewhere in a given country, we can make sure they are addressed everywhere in that country where they are located. Since we will be using Omega Districts, that will mean every block of 50,000 population in World A rather than the 500,000 in the Omega Zones. That will be an adjustment that won’t show up on the stock maps.” You know, once he said it like that, for some reason it made more sense. I’m still mulling it over, but honestly, I might could become a fan. See the entire thread at…

4) Where Can we Learn How to Utilize Media to Launch a DMM?

There’s a great new source that just opened on the web for *free* this past week? Check out Kingdom training at..

https://kingdom.training/

The site uses an interview format combined with interesting videos and fill-in-the-blank questions to help you carefully analyze strategy and promotion. It ingeniously collects all your responses, feeding them back to you in a strategy document at the end of your interview. Love it. Hats off to the people at ____ (name withheld because of security) who make this knowledge base possible! And also, thanks for your humility and servant heart not to charge anything for it. Amazing.

5) What’s Your Take on “The Handmaid’s Tale” (Free Kindle book)

At this link…

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003JFJHTS/ref=chrt_bk_sd_fc_1_ci_lp

You can get the book, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” for free. Have you read it? Can you share your take? The website says, “Set in the near future, it describes life in what was once the United States and is now called the Republic of Gilead, a monotheocracy that has reacted to social unrest and a sharply declining birthrate by reverting to, and going beyond, the repressive intolerance of the original Puritans. The regime takes the Book of Genesis absolutely at its word, with bizarre consequences for the women and men in its population.” What’s your summary of the book? Is it worth the price? : )
