1) Download for Free, “Preparing for Reentry”

This short book, “Before You Get ‘Home’: Preparing for Reentry,” is for people intending to reenter their passport culture after service in another culture. It will help missionaries through the months preceding their return. If you are planning to return to your passport country next year, this is the book for you now. It is now available to download free of charge as .doc, .pdf, or .zip files for your computer and as .mobi or .epub files for your Kindle or Nook. You can’t beat the price. Find it at…

2) New Fundraising Resource for Ongoing Full Funding

fundraising2Need Fundraising Help in 2017? The resource, Dynamic Partnership Development, DPD, is 500 digital pages of fundraising ideas, strategies, research, motivators, and social media tactics, to fund you sooner rather than later. Shouldn’t this tool be in your fundraising toolbox? They give a New Year’s price. Please click on ‘DPD’ to get info. http://www.FundTheMinistry.com

3) Are You Returning “Home” for A Year or More?

“Returning Well” is a customizable resource designed with the transitioning servant in mind. It creatively leads you through the process of a debriefing that leads to renewal so that you may be fully released to uniquely and wholeheartedly love and serve your Creator in the season of life following re-entry. Find out more (including international and bulk purchasing options) at
http://www.ReturningWell.com

4) In a Crisis, What App Would YOU use?

Rock Dove Solutions has come up with an app to use in case of a crisis. The name, appropriately enough, is In_Case_of_crisis. You can ‘push’ messages to your team members in the field, list and provide documents and protocols, and even provide secure two-way communication via the app itself. Has anyone tried this?

https://www.rockdovesolutions.com/in-case-of-crisis-app

There’s a cost involved. For example, if the org has around 350 adult members/users, it might cost $7500 to deploy and around $6500 annually to renew. If you’ve tried it, please click “comment” following the web version of this item. We’re eager to hear your review.

5) New Agency Ramps Up, ready to Serve!

Today we’re celebrating new mission efforts that assist indigenous ministries. The founder of one sample mission was concerted in France over 25 years ago. Sarla was sponsored to come to the US, where she worked with the Founder of Christian Aide Mission – see below for a brief history of the founding of this mission. At Dr Finley’s retirement he encouraged Sarla with others to head up this effort to assist indigenous ministries.

AIM (the agency) seeks out strategic opportunities to advance the gospel in dark, often dangerous and persecuted regions where westerners would be a hindrance, rather than an advantage. As a fundraising agency, AIM is fully committed to assisting the indigenous men and women that God has raised up to do this most important work in the world.

6) Joshua Project is At it Again!

south-asiaThis time, they’re building regional mini-sites that are top-notch. Check out their latest creation here…

http://www.southasiapeoples.org/

For workers on the ground, the mini-site simplifies matters tremendously while providing district-level data to the max. It also displays super-well on cell phones, which are quite common in this region. Thanks Joshua Project!

7) Website focuses on daily prayer alerts

prayer-alertsThe address is

http://www.pray4maldives.org

And pretty much everyone who is there is working at some level to raise up prayer. Although the daily prayer alerts seem to be on hiatus since August, the site still has a wealth of information on how to pray for this needy nation. Also, the video on the home page, with beautiful images of this beautiful country and people, no longer seems to have a clickable audio icon to hear the voice-over prayer. Those who want to hear it can go to the video source at prayercast.com/maldives.html–another great site with prayer fuel for many nations.

8) Calling All Kids to Pray 2017 Calendar

children-prayingChildren make really great prayer warriors. There is nothing to compare with their “child-like faith.” Here’s a new children’s calendar with an exciting resource that empowers kids to engage in missions by praying for other children around the world. It is filled with full-color pictures of African children and provides specific prayer requests each month. It even has a fun coloring activity for every month of the year. Check it out at…
