7) Insurance Providers: A Starter List

Remember our request from the August 7th edition of Brigada, asking for help assembling a starter list of insurance programs for missionaries? Well the 10 responses there have been huge. Especially, a global missions advocate/mobilizer serving in the Philippines and internationally with “Commission To Every Nation (CTEN)” pitched in a TON of leads. He wrote, quoting scripture, “Now see that I, even I, am He, and there is no God besides Me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; nor is there any who can deliver from My hand. ~ I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. ~ ‘My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways,’ says the Lord.” (Deut. 32:39; Jer. 29:11; Isa. 55:8) Check out the growing list of resources at…

12) We Get Mail…

Thanks to those who write and encourage — and especially to those who pray. This past week, Peter wrote from Eastern Europe, …

“I am in the middle of a very enjoyable morning going through a backlog of a few months of Brigada Today emails. I have no idea how many articles I have copied and pasted into emails to friends and co-workers this morning or copy/pasted into Evernote for myself for the future.
When I run thru the Table of Contents every once in a while I will find that none of the articles really apply to what I am doing … except …I always click down to “the BackPage” because it’s always a gem with something worthwhile to think about… Thank you for what you are doing with Brigada Today!”

May God bless those who encourage.

13) We’re Grateful…

thank-youTo a friend from Smithtown, New York, who sent $100 this past week! God bless you brother!

14) TheBackPage: How to Multiply Disciples on a University Campus

Over the next 4 weeks, we’re going to help a college campus implement a disciple making training that we hope will seriously impact the student body there. Are there campuses that you’ve heard about in which students are meeting together in discovery Bible studies, then multiplying groups in the typical “DMM” fashion? If so, where are the best models (in which campuses) and what are some of the lessons they’ve been learning? We’d love to do this right. If you know of such a campus… or such lessons learned, please click “Comment” following the web version of this item. And thanks, in advance, for any help you can give!
