I’m loving my study of the book by Stan Nussbaum, entitled, “Breakthrough: Prayerful Productive Field Research in Your Place of Ministry” (published by GMI). Stan and company will even come and help you “live and in person” on sight. This is a great idea for workers that are having trouble adapting, but didn’t want to admit it. Hats off to GMI for creative problem-solving, which has generated a new realm of information-sharing.

10) Wish I Could Attend this Strategic Partnership Meeting… –

I’d learn all I could about how to stage them, then try to replicate what I learned (for all the other projects for which I’m praying and working). Unfortunately, it comes at a time when I can’t attend. Would someone participate in it, then write up a 5-page or so report on how they stage it?… that we could post here on Brigada? Obviously, we wouldn’t want to publish anything secure. I’m talking more about the framework, the organization, the session layouts, etc. Anyone willing? Anyone already going?

The AVM (Alliance for Vulnerable Mission), that in early 2009 held eight regional conferences in the USA and Europe, wrote recently to express its opinion that, whenever possible, outreach should be conducted in the local national language whenever possible. It’s not too late to register for a 4-week Strategy Coordinator Training in Singapore from 1-25 July, brought to you by Asia Pacific Mission (APM) together with Singapore Centre for Evangelism and Missions (SCEM).
