13) We’re Exceedingly Grateful…

Thanks to…
Mission Network, Mount Vernon WA, a Golden Fan of Brigada, for the gift of $100 this past month and to…
Our faithful friends in Smithtown, NY, True Fans of Brigada, who just sent $100. Because of these and other gifts like them, notice that both the email version and the online (web) version of Brigada are absolutely ad-free — 100%. No Google ads, no banner ads, no NOTHING to slow you down. God bless them — please.

If you’d like to join in with a gift or gifts to undergird Brigada, just navigate to …

http://www.brigada.org

then click “Donate” in the upper right and follow the instructions. By the way, you don’t need a PayPal account to give. If you reach a screen asking for your PayPal I.D., look on the left side of the screen, about halfway down, and find the prompt which says, “Continue without a PayPal Account.” If you’d rather send an old-fashioned check, just make it payable to Team Expansion and send it to:
Team Expansion (Brigada),
11327 Jefferson Trace Blvd.,
Louisville, KY 40291
USA
(And by the way, Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so for USA citizens, your checks made out to Team Expansion are tax-deductible.)

*** For the gift of $8.21 from Insurance Services of America.

http://www.missionaryhealth.net/brigada

They provide insurance plans for those who need international health, and travel insurance, as well as those who want to be reimbursed if their travel plans change or are interrupted by anything in any way. I’ve had to collect before — and it works.

*** For $25 from the Arizona Wedding Pastors. Awesome! Thank you!

*** For $200 from World Outreach Missions, Lawrenceville, GA. The great folks there give fairly regularly — and we pray God’s mightiest blessing on them!

13) We’re Thankful…

Hats off to the above-and-beyond “True Fan” of Brigada in Virginia for empowering Brigada forward with a $150 gift this past week! The partner wrote, “I appreciate you as a long time beneficiary of the information, insight, and resources you provide through Brigada. My wife & I are currently mobilizing our church and community by coordinating a Perspectives class  (www.perspectives.org) with the hope to see effective outreach to internationals locally and a strategic effort by our congregation to reach an unreached and unengaged people group with the Gospel.  Thank you for your help in exposing God’s heart to my own!” God bless you!!! By sending this gift, this True Fan helped empower us to send out Brigada to thousands of users to virtually every nation all over the planet. Thank you!

We also received $34.85 from Insurance Services of America…

13) We’re Grateful!!

Thanks to recent Brigada friends who have sent $25, $100, $25, $153, $30, $100, $100. These gifts total $533 and raise our 2012 gift total to $14,499, just $2620 short of our 2012 budget needs. We have one more week to receive goals for 2012. If you or your church would like to pitch in, we’d be extremely grateful. But either way, after next edition, we keep quiet about money until November 2013. We give praise to God for the way people have pitched in. We ALMOST have enough, finally, to engage an assistant to help us part-time. Maybe then (beginning in March?), we can finally stop running behind all the time! Again, thank you!!! If you’d like to donate during this final week for 2012, just navigate to …

I was a missions pastor for 15 years during which time I had the vision that has become Mission ConneXion.  We always want to encourage those who are on the ‘front lines’ of the mobilizing effort, and you certainly are! I wish this were more.  My friend Jerry of Kingdom Come Training here re-pointed me in your direction when we did our “Support ConneXion” training event with them this last September as we got the word out through Brigada and what we only thought would be a small event, turned out to draw people from a 3-state region.  Then we did Muslim ConneXIon partnering with Fouad (of Crescent Project in October), and again promoted the event with you – and it was our largest “ConneXion” training event ever.  We intend to have more ConneXion events in 2013 – after our big January 18-19 annual Mission ConneXion Northwest event, and we will continue to partner with you.  Thank you for putting us in touch with those who are changing the world for Jesus through their prayer and sacrifice.  Best wishes for a great Christmas and Thank You again!

In Christ,

Bill

13) We’re Grateful for these; Praying For Others…

Bucket Brigade

Bucket Brigade

This is a special time of the year at Brigada. And these are special people. Our deepest thanks go out to…

  • *** An SIL member from Dallas who sent $50. (Thank you!)
  • *** A WEC Australia friend of Brigada who wrote, “Hi Doug, Just a quick note to let you know that the mobilisation team of WEC in Australia just sent Brigada a gift for $50, we value the work you put in and we use, share and enjoy many of the resources you seek out for us. So thanks – praying for your ministry, Mobilisation Team, WEC Australia.” (Thank you!)
  • *** A worker in Singapore, a “True Fan of Brigada,” who sent $100 (Thank you!)

To these and all who give to God through Brigada, we appreciate you! This brings our 2012 total to $7277, meaning we have just $9843 remaining to cover our expense budget for the year. There are just 6 editions left in the year. Yikes. That means we’ll have to average 16 or 17 gifts per week, assuming each giver sends $100 (becoming a “True Fan of Brigada.” What about designating a gift from your local church? Would you be willing to ask your missions committee or missions team to send a $100 gift, or maybe cover the gifts of 5 churches in Africa who, though they read and enjoy Brigada and its resources, can’t afford to send a gift at this time? The truth is, a gift of any size would help. It’s easy. Just click “Donate” in the upper right and follow the instructions. By the way, you don’t need a PayPal account to give. If you reach a screen asking for your PayPal I.D., look on the left side of the screen, about halfway down, and find the prompt which says, “Continue without a PayPal Account.” If you’d rather send an old-fashioned check, just make it payable to Team Expansion and send it to: Team Expansion (Brigada), 11327 Jefferson Trace Blvd., Louisville, KY 40291 USA (And by the way, Team Expansion is a 501(c)3 incorporation so for USA citizens, your checks made out to Team Expansion are tax-deductible.)

13) We’re Grateful for…
