Wouldn't Luis sleep well on the flight back to America if he knew that all 1,739 peoples on the Joshua Project 2000 list had church-planting teams assigned to them?
Last week's item,
CD-ROM "BEST PRICE OF THE YEAR" AWARD, generated quite a flurry of
responses. We received this from the AD2000 & Beyond International Office:
"Wow!!! What a great response in requesting the AD2000 CDs! We're very
encouraged by so much global interest. AD2000 apologizes that there was
some miscommunication on our part in the availability and pricing of the
CDs. We will begin shipping the CDs in early July. The $2 price was
originally meant for volume orders only. All orders already taken will be
honored at the $2 per disc price, however as of June 24, the following
price scale is in effect:| 1 to 3 discs | - | $5 each |

The Russian Federation Duma this week
approved a new law wiping out most of the religious freedom that the
Russian people have recently obtained. In effect, only religious
organizations registered during the Soviet period will remain. Hundreds of
recently registered faiths, churches, seminaries, and charities will
become illegal. Under the new law only Russian citizens are given the
right to form registered or unregistered religious associations, including
prayer groups. The law also increases government scrutiny of religious
practices and beliefs, and groups can be shut down for a broad array of
ideas and actions, including causing "social disorder".
Here's a note to all those with fancy
email systems at their offices: "Watch that vacation mail, please!"
Remember that if you set your email up with an auto-responder ("I'm on
vacation until the 27th of July and will respond after that date."), you'll
drive conference participants/owners crazy!
Most likely, the conference
owner will have to manually unsubscribe you (as if they didn't already have
enough to do with normal maintenance). So please do your conference owner
(and everyone else on your conference) a favor. If you're going to do a
"vacation mail," unsubscribe from all conferences first.
