Here’s a Brigada participant developing a project that will use a web platform specifically designed for missionaries that links to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and allows donors to submit contributions.

It clearly has a high participating cost for missionaries ($100/year!) but is also clearly meant to be a site where people of all ministries who must raise their own support could list themselves and use to connect.
I recommend that the arkpages.com people have an initial charter member opportunity (to build up a viable participant load and demonstrate interest, get critical mass) at a free or much reduced cost. You really want to see scores of people from many different agencies, ministries using it to demonstrate its viability before many others will take the plunge to put down $100/year.
I wish it had a “subgroups” selection function (eg, select a particular mission agency and it brings up all in that agency), but perhaps that could be done via the search box. If so, then it would be better for that approach to be stated overtly (eg, “also put in the name of a ministry organization to bring up a list of all those participating from that ministry”).
